Lagochilus inebrians, commonly known as inebriating mint, intoxicating mint or Turkistan mint, is amember of the mint family Labiatae. This species is reported to produce intoxicating and sedativeeffects due to its content of lagochiline. It is used as such by Tajik, Tatar, Turkoman, and Uzbektribesman during feasts and holidays. It is traditionally consumed as a tea. It is little knownoutside of its home country of Uzbekistan, though there is some budding interest on the part ofentheogenic-minded Westerners.
